Yong Grossman
Yong Frost Grossman, 68 of Houston, Texas died September 26 2015. Yong passed away in the earlymorning hours of September 26 at her home at The Pointe Heath Care Center in Webster, TX after a long illness. She is survived by her son Matthew, who resides in Houston, Texas. Yong was born in South Korea and survived the Korean war which claimed both her parents lives. She was raised by her grandparents into her early 20’s. She met her husband-to-be, Stewart Frost, who was an active duty officer in the United States Army. They married and eventually came to the United States after some time in Germany and other European locations. She owned her own barber shop called “Yong’s Barber Shop” which was located in Webster right across the Nasa Space center. She retired in 2002 after the death of her second husband Mark Grossman. Yong lived to serve God and served on the Deacon board for multiple Korean Churches. She was also part of the Church choir and lived to sing the word of God. Yong loved everyone she came in contact with. She put their lives before hers and that is how she will be remembered. Viewing and services will be held at Crowder funeral home on the 29th of September 2015 at 6 PM. Burial will be the next morning at 11 AM at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
