Yolanda Martha Garcia
Yolanda Martha Garcia, 85, resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed from this life, Thursday, afternoon August 22, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 21, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to proud parents Jesus Morales and Margarita Cruz Morales.
She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and friend to all. Yolanda married Casimiro Garcia and they were blessed with five children, seven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren and still found time to work in the clerical field and was a devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Yolanda was preceded In death by her parents, her husband and her sister, Rosalinda Cruz (Juan).
She leaves behind to cherish a lifetime of memories her daughters, Leticia Chramosta (Jeff), Carol Castro (Glenn), Michelle Martinez (Jose), and Marcelle Garcia (John Windish); son, Damian Garcia (Gina); sister, Margarita Garcia (Ramon); brother Jesus Morales, (Martha); grandchildren, Nickolas, Elisha, Amanda, Vincent, Gabriella, Justin and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Casey, Brodie, Emery, Amelia, Cora, Kasey, Vincent, Jr., Troy, Ananiah, Elijah, Brooklyn, Reagan, Carter, Emily, Kayla, and Cody James; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
In her honor there will be a Rosary, 5:30 PM, Friday, September 13, 2024 with a Memorial Mass following at 6:00 PM, at the Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church, Dickinson, TX 77539.
Praying for you and your family at this difficult time. Ken and I remember fondly of having your parents live next door to my arenas and what great friends they were.

Yolanda grandma that’s what we referred her by. She was a grandma to me and my daughter Georgia Johnson. She was the most amazing woman I have ever met in my life. We miss her dearly, but she will be in a hearts forever.
