  1. My Uncle Burton told the Best stories about everything! From growing up in the small town in Texas, to jokes, to just about anything! But he had the cutest laugh! He loved his sports and was an avid fan in front of his TV through his later years. He loved Mexican cuisine and got such a kick out of all his family telling stories on each other when they would gather up visit. He was a great .”Daddy, Uncle, friend & paw-paw” to us all, and he will be greatly missed. ❤️

  2. I want to express my condolences to all the family of my Uncle Burton, especially to my Cousin Suzanne. It seems like only yesterday that I remember him and his brothers arriving back in Houston after the war, World War II of course, all so handsome in their uniforms and full of stories and relief that they had all survived. All of us Dumas cousins were so close growing up and attending those big family parties. Burton lived a long life, surviving a bout with polio at a time his wife was struggling with tuberculosis, and I’m so happy for his family that he could be with them for so long. While physical problems prevent my attending the funeral, I will be thinking of you all Friday and in the coming days.
