88, passed away on August 29, 2014 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on May 21, 1926 in Hurtsboro, Alabama to Hayes and Mildred Hunter. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Kravetz; her parents; her brother Hayes Hunter; and her sister Myrtie Baker. She is survived by her children; daughter, Kathy McQueeney and husband Jeff of Sarasota, Florida.; son, Mike Kravetz and wife Lena of Dayton, Texas; her sister Louise Jones of Eufaula, Alabama; 7 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She taught at Deer Park ISD, Texas where she was head of the Math Department. After her retirement she moved to Sarasota, Florida where she developed a passion for volunteering at the Doctors Hospital. She loved to travel and in her lifetime she traveled most of  the United States and several European countries. Her journeys are far from over, as they have only just begun. Graveside services will be held Noon  Friday, September 5, 2014 at South Park Cemetery, 1310 North Main, Pearland, Texas 77581.
