Willie “Buddy” Merton Armitage, Jr. 72, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2023.  Buddy was born in Brownsville TX where he graduated from Brownsville High School.  After graduation he moved to Houston where he owned his own air conditioning business and then went to work at Spring Branch ISD as a Maintenance Supervisor until he retired in 2015.

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Irene Armitage, Sr.

Buddy leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Jeanie Armitage; daughter, Heather Armitage; sister Joyce Lee (Wayne); sister-in-law Betty Jane Lopez (Rodney), Rose Mary Powell (Lonnie); brother-in-law Albert Reynolds (Pat) and his best friend Bill Parrish (Paula).

He will be missed by his family and friends.

There will be no services.
