The O’Connell Family
From the son of one B-17 gunner to the son of another B-17 gunner, my sincerest condolences. There is no denying they truly were the greatest generation.
What incredible lives they experienced!
Mary and Liz,
I offer my condolences to your family. You both are in our thoughts and prayers.
May you draw comfort from these bible verses as in “… fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 or Revelation 14:13.
Todd Family,
Uncle Bill (great) was certainly a man’s man. Over his life he influenced the Bannister family on multiple occasions since he married Aunt Babe and became part of the family. His kindness, his personality, his love of life, and his commitment to family are certainly traits that we all should aspire to emulate as we move through our lives. I know that Uncle Bill will be looking over the Todd and Bannister families from the greatest viewpoint in the world – Heaven. His commitment to the US through his service in WWII shows that he understands that our freedoms and the protections of lives is one of the most important ideals to protect. As a fellow veteran, we understand the sacrifices and pressure that comes with defending our ideals from those who wish to do us harm.
During Sunday’s Bills / Texans game, I will be thinking about that playoff game in the early 90’s where the Bills and Houston teams provided one of the best games where we witnessed a great family discussion between Bills and Houston fans at Bill’s house.
Nicole, Ethan, Emily, and I have Aunt Babe, Anne, Rick, Liz, Bill, and George are in our prayers, as well as all those that are part of the Todd Family.
Mary – My sincerest condolences are with you and your family. You all have been blessed with so many memories.
Bill was an awesome man who left us a wonderful legacy, his family. He is at peace now and will never be far away. Continued thoughts and prayers to all of you.
I love you Pop, you are missed dearly.
