We are so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. A terrible loss to such a loving family.
You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Dear Carolyn and family, Bob and I are saddened. We have loved you and the Hora family for many years. I treasure all our fun times together in Bowling Green , Charlotte, and Murrels Inlet. Prayers for strength and comfort. Love to all the family. Janey and Bob Buttermore
Carolyn,
Was saddened to hear of your tragic loss. Bill was a solid
person who told it like it is. I’ll miss seeing him at his
Murrells Inlet pig roast.
I am so sad to read about Bill’s passing. He taught me how to waterski when he and Carolyn were our Luther League Sponsers. When I started working for Dickinson ISD it was a joy to see both of them. I am not sure other’s realize what an asset they both were to our District. Bill managed what the contractors were doing for the construction of KEL, BMS, part of the DHS renovations, and the ESC building. And many more projects. Many times I ran into him after 10pm, as our technology team were doing our thing and he was inspecting buildings. He will be greatly missed. Carolyn, my deepest condolences to you, your kids, and Grandkids.
Long ago memories of our many years together coaching the Dickinson Soccer League team our girls played on. Lots of fun and frustration. Coach Bill’s calm encouragement and praise was just what was needed to keep playing sports a fun experience for the girls. The Dickinson Gremlins hardly ever won a game, but we had a full roster of 18 every year.
May you be comforted by your memories of Bill.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
We are so sad to hear of Bill’s passing. He was truly a solid, loving and well respected individual. A true friend of my Mom and Dad. Our condolences to all his family.
They were two strong members of our bible study group. How blessed I was to be part of the Christian life and will pray for their family and they move through this change in their life.
