Wanita Wierzowiecki, 89, of La Marque, TX, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024.  She was born on December 27, 1934 to Ben Eaton and Nettie Thompson Eaton in Pontotoc, TX.  After graduating high school, she went on to study business in college.

Wanita married Alvin James “Jimmy” Wierzowiecki in 1951. Wanita and Jimmy went on to have 3 children, Bobby Dewayne Wierzowiecki, Lisa Ann Wierzowiecki-Dunn and Sharon Leigh Page.

Wanita was preceded in death by her parents, son Bobby Dewayne Wierzowiecki, daughter Lisa Ann Wierzowiecki-Dunn, brothers: Leroy Eaton, Joe Eaton, Calvin Eaton, Buddy Eaton and Eddie Eaton and sisters: Alma Walker and Elene Pruit and Ernestine Osborn. She is survived by her husband of more than 70 years, Jimmy Wierzowiecki, daughter Sharon Page, daughter-in-law Kathy Wierzowiecki, son-in-law Mike Dunn, grandchildren: RJ Wierzowiecki and wife Heidi, Kristen Wierzowiecki, Amanda Page, Ashlee Page, Justin Page and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at the Crowder Funeral Home 401 Texas Ave La Marque, TX  77568 with the funeral service at 2:00pm with Dr. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
