Vicki Shifflett
Vicki Shifflett, 76, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2022 in League City, Texas. She was born on December 18, 1945 in Galveston, Texas to Karl and Irma Robertson.
The family moved to Texas City in 1943. Vicki graduated from Texas City High School and Massy Business School. She was a Tech Operator for the School District.
She loved spending time with her family, playing bingo, games with her grandchildren and going to the Casino.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years, John “JD” Shifflett, and daughter Abbygail Michell Shifflett. She is survived by her daughter Renee Dondonay, son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Shannon Shifflett, four grandchildren; Larissa Dondonay, Elena Dondonay, Brandon Shifflett and Blake Shifflett, sister Judy Shaefer and brother Robert Robertson and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Baywind Village.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Dickinson, 4613 Hwy 3 with Rev. Stacy Stringer officiating. A reception will follow.
Contributions can be made to the charity of your choice or Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Vicki’s name.
Arrangements are under the care of the Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque.
I miss you every day, Vicki! Thank you for all the lessons you taught me over the years and for all the times you did my hair for special occasions. You send me a sign that you are in heaven with JS, Abbygail, Mom & Dad, Cody and all the other angels God has in Heaven. Love you, Sis!!
