Timothy “Tim” Page Marcum
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Son, Husband, Father and Pappy; Timothy “Tim” Page Marcum. He fought a long and brave battle with cancer and the Lord called him home on October 10, 2024 from the comfort of his home and surrounded by family. Born on August 5th, 1967 in Oak Hill, Ohio, Tim and his family relocated to Texas in January of 1979. A graduate from Dickinson High School in 1986 where he played drums in the Highschool Marching Band, Tim and his wife Delia settled in the Pearland/Sagemont area for the last 3 decades. He took pride in his work first and foremost, as a self-proclaimed jack of all trades, and master of none! There was nothing he couldn’t do or figure out. He did it all, from being a paramedic, police officer, plant operator, auto mechanic, aviation mechanic, IT tech, and his most beloved profession: a Pilot. He was employed by Lockton Companies at the time of his death, where he transitioned into a Maintenance director once the cancer inhibited his ability to fly. He never stopped working.
He is preceded in death by both maternal grandparents (Willow & Edina Myers) and paternal grandparents (Opie & Juanita Marcum.) He is survived by his loving wife, Delia Marcum of 29 years. His Parents Carolyn & Jim Gaulden and Don & Karen Marcum. Brother, Tyler & Wife Kim Marcum. As well as his Daughters Amber Marcum, Brittney and Husband Daniel Hernandez and sons Bobby and Wife Monica Beynaerts, Blake and Wife Vyanka Beynaerts and Brayden Beynaerts. He leaves behind niece & nephew Kenli & Kameron Marcum as well as grandchildren Hailey, Jordan, Devin, Charley, Shepherd, Rory and Bo. And his beloved pets. Tim was devoted to being a provider for his family and refused to sit still even during the hardest of days fighting his battle. He could be found tinkering with his airplanes or radios in any spare time he had. He will be lovingly remembered for his one-liners and for the incredible example he was as a provider.
There will be a Visitation from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway St. Pearland, TX. 77581.
A Funeral Service will be the following morning 11:00 A.M. Thursday October 17, 2024 at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland.
Blue Skies and Tailwinds, We’ll see you on the other side.
It was good flying with you. Safe journey to your next adventure.
Just saw this posted, and am still in shock. Life took us down different paths, but when our lives crossed paths, we were very close. I will forever remember those times. A great man, never scared of anything, loved life on the edge, and was always laughing and joking. I’ve missed him for years, and now, I regret our distance. Blessings to Delia and the family… this is a huge loss. RIP my old friend… if there is something after this life, I hope our paths will cross again.
I am deeply saddened by Tim’s passing. He was a great guy, such a gentleman and caring person. We will miss him daily at the hangar. He fought a long and hard battle and I’m glad he is at peace. Our prayers go out to Delia and his family. May God hold you all close and comfort you in this time of sadness. Rest in Peace my brother.
My best friend for over 30 years. We flew RC stuff together. He got me into skydiving and we have fun with that. He loved flying and for the better part of the last 25 years had a great job that he got to fly all over the world. While Tim was doing some fiber optic and IT jobs, he said I want to fly what do I need to do? I said you have to get out to Hobby and just start asking for a opportunity. I would take him with me as much as I could on the Kingairs and Merlin that I flew at the time. It worked and Tim got to fly Kingair 350, 200 90 and then was typed in the GII and a G450. I was so proud of him. Hard word and dedication payed off. Miss you. Fly to all the great places now. TBRO !!!!
So many prayers and so much love to Tim’s entire family. God bless you all.
Condolences to your family Tim. RIP.

Once a gator, Always a gator
Sure gonna miss you Tim. Thanks for always having my back. Prayers to your wife and family. God bless ya’ll.
Delia, when I first heard the news of Tim’s passing, I was shocked and immediately felt the heart break that would come to all those that knew and loved him. Although I may not have known him as well as others, I knew this man was very kind, loving.
Since the beginning of his battle, I thought of you and Tim often. I also followed his love of flying through social media post.
He loved you and he loved Life. He lived it to the fullest.
I am deeply sorry for your loss and pray for your continued comfort.
There is quote but I do not remember the author
“The Fingerprints on the Lives We Touch Never fade”
Tim touched many lives.
