Tim Jordan
Timothy Loran Jordan was born to Nova & Isum Jordan on November 29, 1949 in Freeport, Texas. He went to be with The Lord on the morning of June 7, 2017. Siblings included: Janice Mears, Wanda Kitchens, and Roger Jordan.
Tim enlisted in the Navy at the age of 18, and was a gunny for 4 years while serving in the Vietnam War from 1968-1972.
He married Cindy Springer in 1975, and became a father to 3 children: Tony, who passed at 2 years of age; Tammy and Tonya. After 18 years of marriage Cindy passed. Tim remarried and is currently survived by Sandy Jordan his wife of 22 years. It was then that he gained 2 more children, Jennifer Tanke, and Chris Scofield. Over the past 18 years he has since gained 4 grandchildren, Faith, Anna, Jordan, and Alex.
Tim was mostly found outdoors. Whether it was in the yard, the pool, or visiting with family and friends, but he was mostly seen with a fishing pole in hand. He was an active member of both churches he loved; Trinity Pines Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church of Alta Loma. Those that knew Tim knew him best by his kind and giving heart, his generous smile, and most likely for his ability to tell great stories. He will be greatly missed by his large family, and his countless friends. He will remain forever in our hearts.
There will be a memorial service held to celebrate his life on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 5:30pm at First Baptist Church of Alta Loma.
In lieu of flowers and cards, the family would like instead for anyone to make donations to the Disabled Veterans in his memory.
