“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain”.
Philippians 1:21
So Sorry for your lost. Prayers for you all.
A great friend to me. Always in my memories.
Ted will be missed, as he was like a big brother to me. He was my son’s bestfriend. Watching the two was entertainment in itself. Ted did love to fish as he and my son did that often, being out doors was a joy and with friends and family set the essence of who Ted really was everyday. When I struggled spiritually Ted brought me back stating, don’t blame God, blame the people. God is always there and sees everything.” With his words changed how I felt about things. Ted brought a lot of joy to people, he was kind, funny, caring, and giving.
I know he can hear my words, as he will be truly missed. Love ya big bro.
Ted Koch was a mountain of a man heart spirit and above all friendship if I ever called he came and quick we shared that as I would always do the same I remember after hurricane Rita when we first met he was In front of my house with a chainsaw I asked if he was with the city or the fire department and he said heck no I want to make sure my neighbors can get in I left for a minute to get my Saw we cut back to back till we couldn’t see as the sunset after that we spent a week and a half together sharing our food and becoming the best of friends to the end Ted was like a brother to me My best friend he will always be in my heart God bless Ted and his family
So sorry for your loss. Love, prayers and hugs.
A great guy and loving Dad and Opa. He had such a big heart and made everyone who met him feel like close friend. We had the pleasure of knowing Ted. He will be dearly missed by family, friends, Jessica and Lucas❤️
God give rest to your soul. It was a long struggle in a short time.
Always strong and capable, you got the job done.
I think of the stories w fondness that were befitting of your knowledge and there are many as you could fix anything. The family deer camp kitchen remodel, our 2 engineers discussing how the countertop should be cut, you went outside & cut it, brought it in and attached it. The same engineers asking you how to hook up the 3 phase walk-in freezer. So you went and took care of that.
The church widows finding manly chores just so you’d come do them. They loved your company.
The missing blue flip flops, a story I still tell. Hilarious.
When you took your last breath on Earth, you took your first breath in Heaven.
Karla and family,
So very sorry to hear about Ted. Lifting all of you up in my prayers as you go through this time of sorrow.
Sending love and prayers,
Cheryl Herrington
