Saddened at the loss of such a beautiful lady, but happy to know she is resting in the arms of God.
A donation has been made in her memory to the Galveston Arts Center.
Mrs. Fowles personified how to live a good life by dedicating her time and efforts by serving God, being a great wife, and raising her 4 children. Deborah was one of my favorite school friends, and it was a blessing getting to know Harriett and her brother Richard. I didn’t get to know Phyllis, but I know the family she was raised with, and I know she is just as great. We will miss this kind lady who was a staple in LaMarque and to all she met. The great ladies of” the Orange street gang” will never be the same.
