Terry Jeffery Venzan
Terry Jeffery Venzant died of complications from Type II diabetes in the early morning of December 22, 2016. Terry was born in Hempstead, TX March 31, 1954 to Vivian Arneida McKenzie and Harry Ransom Jeffery, Sr., who both preceded her in death. Terry graduated high school from Waller High School in 1972. In 1974, she married Andrew Leonard Frazier, and she had two beautiful children, Mrs. Carlotta Lanette Guillory and Dr. Andrea Dawn Frazier. Mr. Frazier was in the United States Marine Corps, and Terry enjoyed traveling the world with him. After separating from Mr. Frazier, Terry went back to college and graduated from Prairie View with a Bachelor’s degree. She was a court clerk, a paraprofessional teacher, and then a dedicated middle school teacher. Later in life, she went into semi-retirement, and resided at the Beall Village Retirement Community in Houston, TX. She married Dwayne Tyrone Robinson October 2016. Terry had a love/passion for music, clothes, hats, shoes, travel, books, writing, and licorice. She is one of a family of 5 siblings. Her brother, Harry (Sonny) Jeffery, Jr. preceded her in death, and she is survived by her husband, children, sisters (Clorice Henry and Arneida [Peaches] Davis), brother (Thomas Jeffery), two sons-in-law (Shawn Guillory and Robert Gill), and four grandchildren (Vincent Guillory, Joshua Guillory, Carleton Guillory, and Shawndra Guillory). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. Services will be held December 31st at Gateway Church in Hockley, TX at 10:30 am.
Terry made many friends at Beall Village. We were glad that she was safe and happy.Thank you all for coming to us and expressing condolences about her passing.
