Terry Lee Harman, Sr., 69, resident of Santa Fe, Texas passed from this life, Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Terry was born in Galveston, Texas to parents Ted and Vera Harman on September 6, 1954. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Eric O’Neal. He was raised by his doting grandparents, Anthony and Vera Ollie, in Galveston, Texas. It was there he learned to garden, hunt, fish, crab golf and appreciate all the intricate beauties of God’s creation. He made an art of everything he did, including his lifelong career as a pipeline welder.

Terry took Don McLean’s words to heart: “I can still remember how that music used to make me smile and I knew if I had my chance that I could make those people dance and maybe they’d be happy for a while…”

He was a musician at heart and leaves behind a personal soundtrack to the lives of his loving family; his wife of 44 years, Kimberly Harman; daughters, Sheri Etheridge (Shawn), Julie Harman, Amanda Schanzer (Eric); sons, Terry Harman, Jr. (Jaime), Daniel Harman, Shane Harman (Emily); sisters, Amanda Rider, Christina Drewry; brothers, Randall Harman, David Harman, Johnathan Harman, and Teddy Harman; 18 grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family, friends and colleagues.

In his honor a visitation will be held, Monday, December 18, 2023 from 11:00 – 1:00 pm, with a funeral service at 1:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas. Interment following immediately at Hypolite-Perthuis Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
