Terri Powell, 85, a resident of Houston, TX, passed away May 27, 2022 in Pearland, TX. Terri was born in Philadelphia, PA.   She is survived by her husband of ten years, Jack Shepherd; and her four children: Steve (wife Elizabeth) Powell; Jim Powell; Lee Ann Benge; Ann Marie Hartwell.  She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and their spouses: Amy (Shawn); Ryan (Ashley), Krissa (Tyler), Austin, Justin, Audra, Blake (Alexis), Bradley (Daniela) and Sean; as well as six great grandchildren.

Terri was a very social person and loved to go out with family, friends, and throw parties.  She absolutely loved going out dancing and traveling with Jack.  It was obvious to her two daughters that when she met Jack, she was smitten.  She was a very dedicated mother and ran a tight ship at home.  Terri suffered many years with Parkinson’s and we know she is happy to be dancing in heaven!

The family wants to give special thanks to Samantha and Pete Forline (Jack’s daughter and husband) for the many selfless times they were there for Terri.

There will be a visitation held at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland on Saturday, June 25th from 4 – 4:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service immediately following.
