Teresa Moreno
Teresa Moreno, 94 of Texas City passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in Webster, Texas. She was born in El Pontarron, Spain on October 30, 1920 to Eladio and Purificacion Rodriguez.
Teresa moved to Galveston in 1944 with the Spanish Consulate and has lived in the Galveston County area ever since. She had a love for gardening and could grow anything and everyone knew she was a great cook.
Teresa was a great mother and even better grandma to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She had a love for children as she was a Day Care Provider.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jorge Edward Moreno.
Teresa is survived by her daughter Begona Gonzales and husband Sammy and her sons George Edward Moreno and Louis Moreno and wife Isis; three grandchildren Lisa Nicole Moreno, Louis Moreno and Cameron Moreno; two great grandchildren Emilee Oppolzer and Maliah Moreno.
The family would like to thank the Light Heart Memory Care and Hallmark Hospice for all their dedication, love and care to our mother.
A visitation will be on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5:00pm ~ 8:00pm at the Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson with Pastor David Brinkley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Jorge Moreno, Louis Moreno, Cameron Moreno, Anthony Rodriguez, Miguel Llana and Steve Johnson.

What a beautiful tribute! Begona, Louis, & George, my thoughts and prayers are with you all! I have very wonderful memories of your amazingly sweet, beautiful Mom. She certainly lived a fruitful and giving life.
