Susan “Sue” Lorraine Cummings
Susan “Sue” Lorraine Cummings, of Hitchcock, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at her home in Hitchcock, Texas at the age of 66. She was born on October 4,1958 in Texas City, Texas to Roy Joe “RJ” and Arlis Watson.
Sue was a proud graduate of Texas City High School and a skilled electrician by trade. When her parents needed care, Sue selflessly moved in to provide for them, embodying her belief that it is truly more blessed to give than to receive. Her boundless generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.
Sue was a kind and loving soul who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. She found joy in simple pleasures, like immersing herself in a good book, especially those by Danielle Steel, and she cherished her time teaching children’s church, sharing her faith and wisdom with the next generation.
She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she so profoundly impacted.
She was preceded in death by her father Roy Joe, mother Arlis, and brother Kenneth Watson
Sue is survived by her sister JoLynn Vasquez, oldest daughter Nikole and husband Matthew Keenan, daughter Brittany and husband Richard “RJ” Starrine and Grandchildren Heather, Colton, Cross, Alexis, and Waylon
