I first met Susan when she was in the RCIA program and I was a sponsor for another candidate at St. Clare of Assisi Parish. Later we worked together in the Samaritan Ministry. She was such a lovely person. My condolences to her family.
I didn’t know Susan for long, but through the ACTS ministry I found a woman with a huge heart and a smile that could light up a room. Samantha, you and your family are in my prayers. Meanwhile, the soul of your mom is making her way into the arms of our loving Father in heaven.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your loved one. When I went through the loss of my father a scripture that brought me comfort is Isaiah 41:10. There it invites us to turn to God for strength and comfort. He promises to “fortify you” and says “I will really hold on to you with my right hand”. May the God of all comfort be with you at this time.
