God needed another Angel Steffan. It was a privilege to see you climb the ladder at Union Pacific. You excelled at every level. I enjoyed our trips together over the rail. I was very proud of you when you became a manager. I look forward to seeing you again. God Bless your Soul and God Bless your Family.
A fine railroader and fair and impartial manager for this company you will be missed. R.I.P. until we meet again.

Steffen was an great man. He was always there for me and my brothers no matter what time of day it was. He devoted himself to his family and his work. Steffen was a huge supporter of veterans and also played a huge role in helping coordinate a yearly Toys for Tots campaign with UPVets. Steffens was a good friend and co-worker.
May God bless you, RIP my friend.
As one of Shiloh’s teachers, I am heartbroken for this precious family. It was evident that Shiloh and Ashton were the brightest lights in Steffen’s life. I’ve rarely met a person more interested in people as individuals. What a gift! It is evident that he was admired by many and I count myself among them.
This is a shock and heartbreaking. You were a great friend. I can’t imagine life without you in it. You will truly be missed. My prayers go out to your family and friends as I know they will miss you so much.
Great person and a great manager you will be miss.
I met Steffen when I went to Texas for the first time to visit my friend Elham. He made it his mission to show us around and have fun. He showed me the Texas way. I don’t know if anyone has had the pleasure of eating Steffens Texas style steak but I can confirm that steak was one of the biggest and the most delicious bbq I’ve ever had. I feel so lucky to have had that time with him. He thought me how to shoot a gun. He bought me my first ever margarita. It was an amazing Texas experience and he was one amazing person who could get along with anyone no matter their age.
I’m honored to say that I met him. I can’t believe he is gone but only the good one go early. He will always be in our hearts and thoughts.
My heart goes out to his family.
I know just like Steffen, his family is strong and they will be okay.
I love you Elham, I’m always here for you. I’m so sorry for your lost ♥️.
Steffen opened his home to us when we traveled to Texas. He loved my food but one thing he didn’t like was my cold milk soup, it was funny cause he didn’t want to say it was bad cause he didn’t want to hurt my feelings. He had one of the biggest hearts.
It’s been an honor knowing such a great guy.
It’s a shame he had to go so soon, we will miss you.
He was a loving father a great friend, and an amazing person.
Rest in peace.
My condolences & prayers for family & friends.
Steffen will be greatly missed.
I first met Steffen in Waco, Tx., he was an extraordinary manager and railroader. He had ideas on how to better manage and make things easier for our employees. He will be greatly missed by many.
First met Steffen in Waco. Very good man both at work and home. He is someone that many should emulate.
Three years later and it still hurts. We love you!!!
