  4. Sean, our hearts hurt for you but our prayers are fervent. The words above describing your bride are beyond touching, unlike any I’ve read. I remember spending time with Sonya during the days in Star City. When I think of her, 1 Peter 3:4 comes to mind: “…the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.” Though we are hurting, something tells me all of heaven must be rejoicing.

  6. This is a fitting story for a remarkable person. Sonya impressed me with her wit and beauty from the first time we met at the memorable wedding of Sean & Sonya. It was more than a wedding ; a joyous union of two people and two families that I will never forget. My only regret is not having had the pleasure of spending more time with these two people who I love so dearly, but it was not always easy to follow their globe-trotting as they lived out their special life together. I thank God for bringing these two beautiful people together, and pray for a time they will be together again.

  8. Sean, dear heart, this is such sobering news but I am so pleased that she will be in Chalk Mountain where I will come to rest also. And there lies your Dad, my dear Uncle Bill. This is Allie writing. I am sorry I see so little of you and did not know Sonya. Greatly my loss. Perhaps this is strange to be glad of but somehow it comforts me as I think of your loss. Much love to you and thoughts of peace head your way daily.

  22. I am deeply sadden to read this, Sonya was such a pleasure to get to know during our RYT 200 hour yoga teacher training together. Even though we only had a short time together she always made everyone feel so loved and heard. The Heavens have gained a true Angel.

  23. Sean- it’s hard to say just a few words about Sonya, as a day spent with her was equivalent to months or years with anyone else! That tells you how much she shared with others and how much love and life God had granted her. From touring Red Square to fine dining with you both in New Orleans, every moment was cherished. Thank you for sharing your sweet Sonya with us all, our lives have been abundantly blessed because of her. I hope this knowledge and our prayers brings you comfort during this difficult time.
