Shirley Inge Nelson, 73, of Magnolia, TX passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Tomball, TX. She was born May 19, 1948 to John and Ingeborg Pierce; resided in Magnolia for more than thirty years; and at the time of her passing, was employed with Scientific Drilling for more than 10 years.

Shirley is now reunited with husband Bruce Nelson; son Derek Sledge; parents John and Ingeborg Pierce; sister Jodie Johnson; brother Donald Lovell and brother-in-law Floyd Bearden.  She is survived by her daughter Nicole Ford; sister Linda Bearden; grandchildren Brooke, Ryan and Cory; her nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and the love of her life….her fur baby Savannah whom she loved dearly.

Shirley will be remembered as a loving, caring, generous, fun-loving individual always willing to help others.  She enjoyed time spent going to the casino, gardening, or just sitting on her patio enjoying the birds and rabbits always there.  She had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially dogs and horses.

As per Shirley’s wishes, she will be cremated with no services planned at this time.  For those wanting to remember Shirley in a special way, please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter or pet rescue.

Shirley will be greatly missed by her family, friends, co-workers whom she considered family and all others whose life she touched.  May She rest in God’s loving embrace.
