Sherri Lucille Sylvester,46, passed away at home August 16, 2019. Sherri spent her last years in Friendswood, TX but was a life long resident of Alvin, TX and was of the catholic faith. Sherri was a bus driver for Alvin ISD for 22 years and for Friendswood ISD for 2 years.  She had tremendous love for the children she worked with.

Sherri is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Dougherty; father, Glen Dougherty.

Sherri leaves behind her husband, Mark J. Sylvester; daughters: Kayla Dougherty, Tori Sylvester and Stephanie Burnside, husband Cody; son, Jake Findley; mother, Phyllis Dougherty; sister. Tanya Hill, husband Bruce; nephews and nieces: Joseph Hill, Joshua Hill, Elizabeth Haynes, Katherine Hill; aunts: Guner Rucker and Jeanie Rose.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2019 with a service to begin at 6p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581.
