Sharon Lindauer
Sharon Lindauer (Peters) of Missouri City / League City, Texas was called to heaven to be with our Lord on Monday February 7th, 2022 in League City, Texas at the age of 70.
Sharon was born in Laredo, Texas, grew up in Houston and graduated from Lamar High School. She attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville Texas where she met Chris, the love of her life and husband of over 50 years.
Sharon was loved by all who knew her, had a heart of gold and the voice of an angel. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and Friend. Sharon was an avid animal lover and devoted caregiver to her loved ones; especially to her late mother and loving husband. At the beginning of 2020, Sharon retired from Charter Title in Sugar Land, Texas and moved to her dream home in League City Texas, so she could be near her pride and joy, her granddaughters. Sharon loved being at her new home and often referred to it as her “happy place” which she shared with her husband Chris, daughter Christi and faithful 4 legged companions, Charlie Brown and Hope. A typical day for Sharon was spent sleeping in until 9am, having her morning coffee with Charlie Brown in her lap, gardening, decorating, floating in the pool, binge watching a good series (on the weekends), preparing home cooked meals and attending her grandaughters choir programs and volleyball games and seeing them on a regular basis. Sharon absolutely LOVED retirement life, she never stopped smiling, her happiness was contagious and felt by all in her life. Her guilty pleasures were “good” chips and salsa, spicy Bloody Mary’s in a chilled glass and sweet apple pie (as long as the apples were soft). Sharon most enjoyed the simple things in life. Just being with her family, staying connected with her longtime friends, cousins and sisterhoods filled her with joy. Sharon was truly the heart and soul of our family, her sensitive and nurturing disposition was constant; she showered her family with love, selfless care and unwavering support. Our mom wore her heart on her sleeve and told us everyday with her sweet kind voice, “I love you”. Words cannot begin to convey how amazing she was, how blessed we were to have her love and how much she will be forever missed.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father Gilbert Peters, Step father Bill Davis, and Mother Juanita Davis (Richards). Survived by the love of her life her husband Chris Lindauer, daughter Christi Lindauer, daughter Lisa Boland (Lindauer) and Her husband Nick Boland, Granddaughters, Haley Boland, Emma Boland and Olivia Boland.
A Memorial Service will be held in Sharon’s Honor on February 26th at 2pm at Crowder Funeral Home located at 111 E Medical Center Blvd Webster, Texas 77598
A reception will be held immediately following at Sharon’s Home in League City.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Sharon’s name to the Friends of League City Animal Shelter.

Sharon was my first bff. We met when she was 7 and I was 8 and lived across the street from each other in Houston. She was like a sister to me and my two brothers. When we introduced her mother to my uncle they were soon married and we became cousins. Words can’t express how much I’m going to miss seeing her sweet smile & getting her hugs. Praying for comfort for Chris, Christi, Lisa, granddaughters and so many others that she loved. See you one sweet day in heaven dear cousin 🙏
Sharon was married to my Brother Chris, she always reminded me of our little Grand Mommy she was always doing something. Sharon, I never thanked you for the blind date you set up for Lucy and I, we’ve been together 41 years, Thank you Sharon.
Thank you for being a good caring friend and neighbor for almost 30 years at Manion drive. May Psalm 116:15 give your love ones peace and comfort of your going home.

Sharon will be greatly missed. She was a dear friend to me for almost 20 years. She had a beautiful soul and was always there for me as a friend. I am deeply saddened by her passing and wish the Lindauer family peace and comfort in knowing she is an angel watching over us now.
We were shocked and saddened to hear the news. Such a sweet and loving soul was lost but we know she is home looking down on all her friends and family. Our hearts and prayers are with the family. She will be forever loved and remembered by so many.
