Sharon Kay Hoppe
Sharon Kay Hoppe, of League City, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her home in League City, Texas at the age of 64. She was born on January 23, 1952 in LaMarque, Texas to Robert and Mary Jo Bolton. Sharon graduated from Dickinson High School. About a year after graduation, she married Darrell Hoppe, and would soon go on to have a child Darrell, Jr. Sharon worked for Dickinson Independent School District and retired in April of 2013. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all. Sharon is survived by her husband Darrell, son Darrell, Jr., sisters Glenda Lancon, Bobbie Futrell and husband Hank, Jacquelyn Lancon and husband Ronnie, grandchildren Marcus, Dekota, Jayme, Vivian and Allison and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will recieve friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 6-8:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas 77573. A Ceremony will follow on Wednesday at 11:00am at Crowder Funeral Home in League City with Pastor Ted Duck officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson. In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials to the Arthritis Foundation, 1355 Peachtree St NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309.
So sorry to hear of Sharons’ passing. She was such a sweet person and I always enjoyed talking with her. She will be missed.
