Seth Ryan Courter, 33, of Rosharon, TX, passed from his life, Sunday, August 30, 2015.

Seth was the son of Kelly Courter and Alicia (Clements) Hannan, born on May 18, 1982 in Danbury, CT. Seth grew up in New Fairfield, CT, where at the age of 10 he met his best friend and the love of his life, Amy Drucker in the fifth grade.   He was a graduate from WSCU where he received his Bachelor of Arts, and then followed his true calling by completing his Bachelor of Science in Culinary Management from The Art Institute of Houston. Seth was employed as an Executive Sous Chef at the Texas Children’s Hospital.

Seth was a man of many talents and his passions were wide and varied, but his true love, aside from his family, was culinary arts. Seth could be found experimenting in the kitchen with new age infusion techniques involving molecular gastronomy, and was always trying to find new methods for producing food while still preserving the taste and essence of the ingredients.

Seth was a bright, intelligent and gregarious young man who would light up a room with his smile and a joke. He had an infectious laugh, kind heart and would drop everything to help a friend.

He is survived by his adoring wife Amy (Drucker) Courter, his daughter Cecilia Rose, age 1, and expecting his son Craig Ryan Courter in December. He is also survived by his father Kelly Courter (Debbie), his mother Alicia Hannan (Peter), his brother Adam Courter (Alisse) and his grandmother Dorothy Clements.

In addition, he is also survived by his father in law Bill Drucker (Jennifer), his mother in law Pamela Griffin (Patrick), his brother in law William Drucker (Debbie) and their children Willy and Becca; grandmothers in law, Eleanor Drucker and Betty Pakeltis, and many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 10am at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581.
