Scott E. Williams, 46, died unexpectedly at his home in League City, Texas on August 17, 2016. Scott was born on October 15, 1969 in El Paso, TX and spent his youth in Carlsbad and Hobbs, New Mexico and Cypress, Texas. He graduated from Cy Fair High School and the University of Houston.
Scott spent ten years as a reporter for the Galveston Daily News before attending law school. He spent four years in the Practice of law before returning to the newspaper as managing editor/news in January of 2016.
Scott is survived by his wife Brenda and two children, Brooke and Brody. He is also survived by his parents, Charlie and Donna Williams and his mother -in-law Betty Korndorffer.
There will be a memorial service on Monday, August 22 at First United Methodist Church in Dickinson at 2:00PM.
