What a loss this is in our hearts. It’s still hasn’t sunk in that she is gone. Sandra did leave a mark on my heart and I will always remember her kindness and love that she extended to me. God bless y’all and be with y’all during these up coming days. Thank you Lord for keeping Sandra with you.
Wayne, we are very saddened to hear about the loss of your wife Sandra. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Wayne – So very saddened to hear about Sandra’s battle and that she is gone – I loved working with her in the ExPO. She and her spirit were such a delight and will be with me ( and truly all of us) always. Our prayers are with you and your families..
I’m still in shock to hear this. Sandra was great, she always made you feel important when she saw you. She was so funny and sweet. Just a great person. I’m so sorry your loss.
Sandra was such a joy to work with. She was loaned to me at the very beginning of the Orion Project and jumped in to assist, usually offering to perform tasks before I thought to ask for assistance. She performed her work meticulously and always with a great attitude. My heart goes out to Wayne and her extended family.
Wayne I’m sorry for your loss. Sandra was a beautiful person and I always enjoyed being around her. Her smile would always light up a room. Hugs to you and prayers for your comfort.
Sandra touched all of us in some special way. She was a great friend and coworker and my heart is broken to know that her kind words and sweet personality are gone. Sandra brought joy to the office and my wife and I always enjoyed talking or traveling with her. She shared her wonderful family with us when we visited Mazatlan, her beautiful home. And she was patient with my slow gringo Spanish. Praying for Wayne and Sandra’s family and friends as we all cry and miss her. It is just hard to believe.
My sincere condolences to all Sandra’s family. I was fortunate to work with Sandra at Wyle and she was a remarkable lady who I came to consider my friend. She will be missed. Unfortunately I’m currently out of the country so unable to pay my respects at the memorial service.
Sandra is one of the most beautiful people we have ever met. She was a giver and a dear friend. She loved her family above everything and she will leave a big empty space in our lives.
We loved her from the day we met her, it was 2000. We cried and laughed together, we shared stories, hard times, and happy times. The happiest day of all was the beautiful marriage of Sandra and Wayne.
We will forever miss you Sandra.

Our hearts and souls are weeping. Sandra was taken way too soon! Oh, Lord we often don’t understand the plans you have for us or our family. I pray for comfort and peace for Wayne and his family. Sandra was ALWAYS a bright light in a dark room. She lit up any conversation you had with her. She would listen and converse with you exactly what you needed to hear. We will miss her caring soul.
My sincere condolences to all.
I’m admittedly struggling to even know what to say.
I am so very sorry, Wayne.
With deepest sympathy,
g

Sandra was an incredible person. I remember when I first moved to Mazatlán and how she made me feel welcomed. She is well known for her kind soul, beautiful smile and incredible hair. So beautiful inside and out. And always a lot of fun. Sandra we will miss you so!!! RIP my dear friend. My heart goes out to you Wayne, you were the love of her life and the two of you set a great example and were an inspiration to many. To her family, I send you my prayers and hugs!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you always though we cannot be there today.
Our lives are dimmer without her here but know her soul shines bright.
Dom and Crystal.
Sandra was a very dear friend and co-worker at NASA, JSC. I am very sad and sorry for this lost! Wayne, you and your family will remain in my prayers! Godspeed..
I’m so sorry Wayne. She was a beautiful person. She really did light up every room she entered. So much fun, so loving, with such a bright smile and cheerful laugh. I couldn’t help but be happy when I was with her. Sincerest condolences to you and her family. Stay well, friend.
I will never forget our first time together. You were like angel wings in my life. You made the best tacos. You were a dear sweet friend who touched me deeply with so much love. The love and grace of God through you that you gave to everyone you met was so immeasurable. I will miss you dear friend. You are in great paradise with Jesus.
It cannot be said any more perfectly than this description from the obit: “Sandra lit up every room she entered. Her smile and personality brought so much joy, happiness, and comfort to so many people. She was a great listener and was very empathetic. She helped many people. Sandra will be remembered for her friendly smile and her warm, kind-hearted, compassionate soul. She will live eternally in our hearts and minds.”
In this sense, Sandra lived many lives through her deep connections and empathy with others. She could see into your soul and be present with you when it was most needed. She has been a force of nature.
Wayne, I’ve just learned about Sandra’s passing… my friend, I am so sorry to hear. Please know that you’re in our thoughts and prayers; I only wish there was more we could do. A donation has just been made from my paypal to second chance pets… it doesn’t actually allow me to do so in her name, but please know it was because of her this donation has been made.
Sandra was such a beautiful sweetheart, we didn’t spend a lot of time together, but the time we did was more than joyous. I know the world is a dimmer today and I’m so sorry for your loss…
