Sandra Elaine Guerrant, 76, of Dickinson , passed away peacefully at her home on February 22, 2025.  Born on April 4, 1948 in Pasadena, Tx.  She graduated from Pasadena High School and married the love of her life Cotton Guerrant  on August 11, 1967.  She graduated from Alvin Community College in 1981 with a degree in nursing. Her dedication to helping others led her to work as an adolescent psychiatry nurse at Jeanie Sealy Hospital in Galveston . Later she spent two decades as a nursing case manager at HCA Mainland Hospital before retiring in 2015.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Sandra. She was deeply devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She found immense joy in the presence of her loved ones, treasuring time shared with her children , grandchildren , and great -grandchildren. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on those around her.

A woman of strong Christian faith , Sandra had a deep and comforting relationship with God. Her spirituality provided her with solace and strength throughout life’s challenges, offering her peace and security in knowing that God was always by her side.

She is survived by her three daughters , Alisa and husband Scott Weaver, Ellen and husband Kenneth Berner and Brittny Poston, brother Gordon Herring and his wife Amber, grandchildren Courtney , Chase and his wife Madison, Kaleigh and her husband Stephen, Garrett, McKenzie , Ayden, and Zane , and great grandchildren Kai, Laekyn, Dawson, and Emmett. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Guerrant , her mother Grace Wilburn, her father William Herring and brother Bill Herring.

A funeral service will be held on February 28, 2025, at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson , Texas (851 FM 517 Rd West) . Visitation will be from 10am-11:30 am and funeral services will begin at noon. There will be a small graveside gathering for immediate family following the service and lunch afterwards at Ellen’s home.
