Samuel Everette McCann Sr., of League City, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the age of 81. He was born January 30, 1936 in Pineville, Louisiana to Otis and Mildred McCann.   He enjoyed riding motorcycles and being a member of the Masonic Lodge in Pasadena, Texas. He served in the United States Navy and worked at the Houston Fire Department for 40 years. Samuel was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Mildred McCann, sisters Doris Phillips and Jane Creamer, and son Samuel McCann Jr.   He is survived by his daughter Pamela McCann and many loving neices and nephews. The Family will receive friends on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 12-2pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas with a Funeral Service at 2pm.  Interment will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery,21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas.
