Ryan Lee Landrum, passed away on February 28, 2020 in League City, TX at the age of 43.

He was born on October 18, 1976 in Beaumont, TX to Ronny and Brenda Landrum.

From an early age Ryan had a love for baseball. Early days of playing ball with his cousins at their grandparents house using the old bats and balls from Papa’s closet led to tball and little leagues to playing college ball out in California. It came as no surprise to see him in the dugout and sidelines of his own children’s games. Ryan enjoyed the outdoors, especially saltwater fishing and any bird hunting that included dogs! An accomplished trainer himself with great dogs like Dixie, Bogey, Ruger, and Mick to name a few over the years. He spent the last years working in plants as Turnaround Lead.

Ryan’s greatest joy and accomplishment was found in Katherine (daughter) and Brady (Son). He leaves a lasting impression in their lives.

Other survivors include his parents Ronny and Brenda Landrum, Sisters, Kasey Sanders (David), Linzy Ritchie (Eric), Nieces and Nephews McKenna, Bailey, Cooper, Jonas, Finley, and Eleanor, the children’s mother, Laura Landrum, and a long list of cousins, friends, and extended family.

Preceded in death by (Papa) Jess and (Nana) Nell Landrum, Jackie Byrd, Bob and Betty Jo Curry, Jerry Landrum, Mary Springfield, Jim and Martha Foster.

  2. It was a great pleasure working with Ryan at BASF in the TAR group. He was well loved and his opinions and forethought were invaluable. He always focused on what was best for the business while being fair to and well respected by all the contractors he worked with. He wasn’t shy about sharing his expertise and knowledge.
My thoughts and prayers go to his beautiful children and his family. God has another angel to watch over us all. Rest In Peace sweet Ryan.
