Rose Mary Dial, age 86, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday June 5, 2022 in League City, Texas.
Visitation will be held at 9:00am with services to follow at 10:00am Friday June 10, 2022 at Crowder Funeral Home in League City, Texas. Burial will be at 2:00pm at Houston National Cemetery.
Rose Mary was born October 22, 1935 in Taylor, Texas to Vernon Lee and Mary Cecile Steimann. She was one of seven children, Vernon Lee, Mary Sheffield, Billie Hill, Sara Gama, George Steimann, and Eddie Steinman whom she loved dearly.
Rose Mary Attended Holy Rosary Catholic School, then graduated from San Jacinto High school in Houston, Texas. After graduating Rose Mary married Freddy Gleen Dial in 1955 and together they had five children Deborah Ann Dial Burton of League City, Anthony (Tony) and Tami Thompson Dial of Texas City, daughter in law Shelley Dial of Houston, Bryan Christopher Dial and Donna Dial of Tinnie, New Mexico, Karen Elaine Dial Lewellen and Breton Lewellen of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Rose Ellen Dial Brown and Brian Lynn Brown of Nacogdoches, Texas.. Together they raised their family in the United States Air Force, living throughout the United States and abroad. Also, survived by Grandchildren Jason and Charlene Conway of Bellvue, Washington, Elisha Wakefield of League City, Texas, Stephanie Barrett and husband Ron of League City, Texas, Anthony and Andrea Dial of Santa Fe, Texas, Jessica Starrett of Houston, Texas, Chris Dial of Houston, Texas, Justin Dial of Austin, Texas, Katrina and Brandon Horne of Plano, Texas, Blaine Dial of New Braunfels, Texas, Ty Hodgson of Tinnie, NM, Andrew and Sonia Carroll of Ft. Worth, Texas, Matthew and Maria Carroll of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jeffrey Thomas Brown of Nacogdoches, Texas and Kaylin and Tristian Olivares of Gilmer, Texas, and Great Grandchildren Joshua Stovich of Santa Fe, Texas, Hayden and Declan Dial, Luke and Lillian Starrett, Jonathan Wakefield, Jr. of League City, Texas, Landon Wakefield of League City, Texas, Macy Wakefield of League City, Texas, Brynlee Wakefield of League City, Texas, Kalden Wakefield of League City, Texas, Kyler McDaniel of Lubbock, Texas, Krysta McDaniel of League City, Texas, Kali Crisp of League City, Texas, Kagan Crisp of League City, Texas, Matthew Carroll, Jr. of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jackson Carroll of Ft. Worth, Texas, Hailey Rose Carroll of Ft. Worth, Texas, Soleigh Cisneros of Ft. Worth, Texas, Arreana Cisneros of Ft. Worth, Texas, Andrew Ayden Carroll of Ft. Worth, Texas and Ella Rose Olivares of Gilmer, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Mary Cecile Steinman, Father, Vernon Byron Lee, Sr., Husband, Freddy Gleen Dial, Brother George Steinman, Son in law, Douglas Burton and Grandson in law, Cory Starrett.
Rose Mary was a devoted Patriot who loved her God, Country, and Family. She was an avid Astros fan, who never missed a game and always expected a win. Go Stros! She also loved Golf and Country Music. Rose Mary, forever being young, was still attending Country music concerts and Astros games well into her 80’s. She was strong willed, kind, and a caring Mother/Grandmother who will be dearly missed. She will be laid to rest in the hands of the Lord, where she will finally be at peace.
Pallbearers will be Jason Conway, Anthony Dial, Justin Dial, Chris Dial, Ron Barrett, and Tristian Olivares.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or Tunnel 2 Towers.
Following the Funeral please make your way to Houston National Cemetery by 1:45pm to line up in lane 1.

So sorry to hear of Rosemary’s passing…what a beautiful person she was, both inside and out…my parents loved her so much too (W.A. and Yvonne Campbell)…Our family will be praying for you now and in the weeks to follow. We love you all so much!
