Ronald Gene Cox
Ronald Gene Cox, of League City, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 in League City, Texas at the age of 92. He was born on April 7, 1932 in Dallas, Texas to Edward and Alma Cox. He was a long time resident of League City and before retiring, worked for many years at Boeing.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lynda, his brother Edward Cox and son-in-law Mickey Vann.
He is survived by his children, Cathi Vann, Anson Cox, Tina Smith, Jason Blaylock and wife Angie. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Todd Vann, Chelsea Gumm, Tyler Smith, Bella, Brody, and Bailey Blaylock and five great grandchildren: Delaney, Madison, Emma, Chappell, and Lily.
A Grave Side Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 11:00am at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598 with Reverend Bill Cole presiding.
Jason, Angie, Isabella, Brody and Bailey, Papa and I are so sorry that you lost your Papaw. We know that you loved him and will miss him. He is now with the love of his life your Mamaw, and in the arms of God. We love y’all so much!

Mr . Cox it’s your friend Emmylou that’s what he would call me . I work for The Delaney at South Shore . I am extremely sorry for the family loss of Mr . Cox . It took me a little while to finally post because it hit me a little hard Personally when he passed away in October, 2024 , Mr . Cox was my favorite resident that lived at The Delaney at South Shore . Because I meet him 2 years ago in the AL Dining area. I would feed him lunch and dinner. until this day I still Miss Mr . Cox he will forever have special place in my heart My favorite Memory with Roland Cox and I is when him and I went the Alzheimer’s walk in 2023 outside the build at the Senior living home . And I was pushing him around in his wheelchair he was just in enjoying
The beautiful day and all the fun stuff we had for the residents that day . He always told me Thank you for always be so nice to me helping me
If he only knew with out him and all the other Residents that live there is what makes me love my Job so much much ! Because elderly people are just amazing people. May he rest in peace. Heaven Gain amazing Angel the Family in my prayers
