  1. Ron, I remember meeting you over 40 years ago when I would come over to the house to see Kim, and you would light up and give me such a wonderful welcome! I was amazed that you religiously sent me a Christmas card every year, even after you were on your own. I’m going to miss you like all the other people you touched over the years! You lived a long, full life and now can rest in peace with your other half.

Kim – love you, bff, and condolences from Dan, Adrienne, Conor, and my mom & dad!
Kathy & William – wish I could be there to see you both! Stay strong, help each other and spend some time enjoying the wonderful memories!

  2. Dear Kim, Kathy, Bill and family,
I’m so sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing. I was just thinking of him yesterday knowing his birthday was coming up. While working together at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, we always celebrated our birthdays in the office. Your Dad was a great Supervisor to me for many years. The move to the new building was a challenge, but he guided us through it. He also provided me with opportunities to learn and train in the Logistical field which benefited me in my 42 years with the Corps. I will be forever grateful. I will always remember his kindness and the many times he shared stories of the love he had for your Mom and you his children. I know you all will miss him dearly, you are blessed to have had a great Dad. My prayers and condolences are with you all.

  3. Kim,Kathy,Bill,

We heard about Ron’s passing the end of May.
Joe and I had been thinking about him not knowing he had passed.
Sorry for your lost, he is with sweet Doe who was a great friend to me and I think of her often. We had talked about going to the house to see Ron and then Covid happened. You were blessed to have had your dad for so long.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Love,
Joe and Jennifer Mergist and Family
