My deepest condolences. I will always remember his sense of humor! So glad I was able to work for him.
I remember Roger as far back as the 7th grade at AB Hart. I often sat with Roger and Paul Hulka at lunchtime. We were all science nerds and had many interesting discussions. Outside of school we talked a lot about girls, cars and fishing. I think we knew more about the cars and fishing. We were very naive about the girls. Roger always had some humorous comment about all those things. Roger was never one to be concerned about fashion. I think he was born in a flannel shirt! I believe his father had a great influence on him. He often quoted things his father said or taught him. I believe that his father’s untimely death had a big effect on him for years afterwards. I’ll always have a place in my heart for my old friend Roger!
My big brother, hero, protector taught me many things but the most significant and wonderful was that he taught me how to read.
He expanded my world.
I have many other happy memories and will miss him greatly.
