Roberta Ruth Smith
Roberta Ruth Smith, 81, of San Leon, passed away June 6, 2015 in Nassau Bay. Ruth was born Valentine’s Day, 1934 to Robert and Helen Vulgamore in Lucasville, Ohio. She loved taking care of people and was a Registered Nurse for 45 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Emily Grieve, Robert Vulgamore, and Gail Harmon.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Carol Jeanne Whitley; sons, Thomas Allen Smith and wife Muichenge, James Daniel Smith and wife Debra, and George Robert Smith; sisters, Nancy Zervis and husband Howard, Judy LaMere and Suzie Lowe and husband Jimmy; brother, Larry Vulgamore; grandchildren Chelsea Smith, Jamie Smith and Crystal Smith. Ruth will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Arrangements are through Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, Texas.
