Robert Reardon
Robert Hale Reardon, age 85, passed away peacefully at his home in Kemah on Monday, January 18th. Bob was born in Norwalk, Connecticut to Charles and Francis Reardon. After high school, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard and went on to serve in the United States Army. He started his first job with Schlumberger in New Orleans, where he then completed a second degree, a Bachelor of Science from Tulane University. He later moved to Houston to pursue his career with Schlumberger working as a data analyst and computer programmer. One of his last major assignments was ensuring technical continuity for the Y2K turnover.
Bob retired to Kemah where he enjoyed daily walks, the ocean and going out on his boat with friends. He was a devoted owner of several Springer Spaniel rescues and adopted several Springer rescues through the years.
He is survived by his brother Bill Reardon of Ridgefield, CT., sister Charlotte Corbett of Denver, CO., and 7 nieces and nephews.

It was my honor to serve Bob and the Reardon Family during the last few months of Bob’s life as a caregiver who lived in the home and experienced Bob’s kind, caring, and gentle nature. Thanks for giving me this time to serve you folks. May God be glorified in all the earth through this family.
