Robert Randall “Bob” Conner
Robert Randall “Bob” Conner, 73, of League City, Texas, passed away on April 19, 2018. Born July 19, 1944 in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Max Wilson Conner and Mary Weimer Conner. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 40 years, Joanne Marie Conner. He is survived by his two sons, Chad Randall Conner of League City and Travis Maxwell Conner of Seabrook, TX. Bob enjoyed boating with the family as a member of Lakewood Yacht Club since 1980. Private service will be held at a later date.
My condolences to everyone in the Conner family, especially to Chad and Travis, Bob’s sons. Bob (Randy) was my cousin, and more like my big brother, as he watched out for me when we both went to Kent State University. He is greatly missed and is in a better place now.
I’m not sure this will ever reach Chad and Travis. Bob and I were the very best of friends in High School and College. When i “ran away” from home I went to Texas with Max and Mary. It took me for a very long time after Krissy called to let me know of Bob’s passing. I treasurer the time we spent back then at both Buchtel High and Kent State.He will always be on my mind. I miss him a lot.
