Robert Anthony Ponzio
Robert Anthony Ponzio, age 62 passed away on August 23, 2016. Robert was born on May 28, 1954 in East Meadow, New York. He was employed at M.D. Anderson as a Senior HVAC Mechanic for 24 years.
Mr. Ponzio was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Sophie Ponzio, his brother, Frank Ponzio and his step-daughter, Amanda Bourgeiois.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Ponzio, his daughter, Crystal Anne Jackson and his son-in-law, Jay Jackson; his son, Ryan Anthony Ponzio; his step -daughter, Rachael Ann Hatch and husband, Garret Hatch; his sister, Joanne Fleming and brother-in-law, Judge Fleming; his sister Jeannie Dickmann and brother Benny Ponzio; his four grandchildren and numerous extend family members.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.
I am deeply saddened by the loss that you and your family have encountered. My condolences. Had the privilege of working with this fine man at MD Anderson for many years. Robert will be truly missed by all.
I am so heartbroken!!! I pray that the family find comfort in knowing he will be resting peacefully with his Lord. I will miss his smiling face. I pray that he be granted an eternity in paradise. We must cherish every moment of each day!
