Robert Alan Armstrong
Robert Alan Armstrong, passed away on September 25, 2021. He was born April 15, 1970 in Texas City, Texas to Adrian Coleman and Patsy Ann (Inns) Armstrong. He graduated from O’Connell Catholic High School in 1988. He loved working as a draftsman, making plans, for just about anything, from buildings to oil and gas wells. Wherever his life took him, he always seemed to be able to make everyone laugh. He even decided to try out comedy and absolutely loved it. Getting to make people laugh and eventually getting the chance to work with some of the best in the business was a dream come true. When Lil’Rob was coming to the stage, you better watch out.
Rob was an amazing family man. He with his wife, Ashley Sarah (Barden) Armstrong, was married for 18 years and blessed with 4 beautiful children. Savanah Hope, Brianah Love, Mason Franklin Foxx and Makaylah Faith were the absolute apples of his eye, and the best times they all spent together were soaking up the sun, with their toes in the sand listening to the waves at the beach.
Robert is preceded in death by his baby daughter, Savanah; parents and brother Larry Armstrong.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Ashley; daughters, Brianah and Makaylah; son, Mason. Sisters, Donna Eierdam and husband Kenneth, Julie Terry and husband Bruce. Numerous nieces, nephews.
There will be a visitation at 9 am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel in La Marque, Texas. A funeral service will follow at 10 am. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested to please donate to the family’s Go Fund Me page that has been set up.
