Riva Cabading Dejos, 75, of Rosharon TX passed away on January 27th, 2025. She was born September 19th 1949 to Alberto Cabading and Felicidad Hernando in Cagayan De Oro, Philippines. Rae to her loved ones she was a beautiful soul, to others, she was a wonderful person. Shy but when you get to know her, she’s a friend for keeps. She’s very humble, she loved to laugh and made people laugh, loved to dance and sing, loved spending time with her family, loved playing mahjong with her siblings, cousins, nephews, and nieces.  She believed strongly in God’s grace and the power of prayer and had many rosaries and prayer books. She was our prayer warrior. A true person of God. She had the biggest heart. She always gives more than what she has, she never hesitated to give it to somebody who needed it. She was our number one cheerleader, and her grandchildren was her world. She was our best friend. Mama Rae will surely be missed

Riva is preceded in death by her parents Alberto Cabading and Felicidad Hernando. And son Paolo Claro Dejos. Brothers Ernesto Cabading, Antonio Cabading, Leo Cabading; sister Fredesvinda Garlitos.  She is survived by husband Egdono Valdehueza Dejos; son Marco Dejos and wife Marie Dejos and grandson Jeremiah Marco Dejos; daughter Vanessa Rae Voss and husband John Andrew III and granddaughters Alexandria Rae Voss and Qira Lyn Voss and grandson John Andrew Voss IV; son Paolo Jose Dejos; sister Corazon Bual; brother Vito Cabading.

There will be a service at 4:00 P.M. on  Friday February 7, 2025  at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581

 

In lieu of flowers, the family would accept donations in cash or in kind and would be greatly appreciated.
