  13. The “Guru” of the grocery store business as he was know here in Bryan/ College Station. He always laughed when we referred to him as the “Guru”. That is a great picture of Richard. He was always smiling and you always had a good time hanging out with him. Richard and Maria raised such a nice family. He was very proud of Michael, James, and Dionna.

Its certainly a sad day. Please know that the family is in our thoughts and prayers.

  19. To the Lopez Family, I am deeply saddened to here the passing of Richard, my cousin. My birthday is on December 2, 1951, one day after his. When my birthday comes around I think of him and his family. I still remember the time when Richard, Robert, and I would go fishing at the Texas City Dike, when we were teenagers, about 50 years ago. I don’t remember if we caught any fish but we had a great time. Our condolences to the Family. Our prayers, thoughts, and tears be with you all.
