Richard Edward Eick
Richard Edward Eick, 88, passed away on May 13, 2021 in Clear Lake City, Texas. He was born on October 30, 1932 in Batavia, New York to Fred and Margaret Eick. Richard is survived by: his wife, Joan; daughter, MaryJane; sons, Richard and Gregory, grandchildren Andrew, Emily, Laura, Richard and Thomas; great grandchildren, Sawyer, Claire, Macy, Jackson, Kinsey, Brooke and Nolan and numerous family members and friends.
When his nation called he answered by joining the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Captain. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Buffalo. Richard worked as an Engineer for the TRW Corporation supporting NASA space flight initiatives from Apollo through Space Shuttle. He had a passion for serving in his church and loved to play golf whenever he could.
Visitation for Family will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 East Medical Center Boulevard, Webster, TX. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 10:30am at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7801 Gulf Freeway, Dickinson, TX.
Richard you are going to be missed a lot we have been friends and neighbor for about 57 years
