I worked with Doug for several years in Technology. I was so shocked and sad to learn of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

I still can’t believe I’m commenting on your obituary. From arguing with each other to laughing at each other last Friday while leaving work in the rain to having to find the words to say good bye to my friend and coworker for more than 12 years. Thank you Doug, for always believing in me and telling me I could do it, for always being there to help me, for listening to me gripe and telling me not to panic, for supporting me and for being my friend. I will miss listening to you talk about how much you love your family and the stories about you and your friends.
Every morning I walk into my office and see your desk, I will try to smile and imagine you’re still sitting there blabbing away and then getting irritated when I don’t listen and make you repeat the whole thing. My heart is heavy and I miss you. I hope you are resting in peace and comfort. Sending my thoughts and prayers to your sweet family
So long my sweet friend~
Love, Terri
Dougie I will miss your quick wit and quiet laughter. Your shuffling down the hall, because we all know you never got in a hurry. There are really to may things to name that I will miss. My condolences to your wife and children. I know how much you loved them. Rest in Peace my sweet friend.
