Richard Charles “Captain Mac” McGaffey, 84, of Hitchcock, Texas passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 in Friendswood, TX.  He was born November 10, 1932 in Bessemer, Alabama to Alfred and Ellen McGaffey.  

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.   He is survived by his four children, one brother and three sisters.

A Celebration of Life for Family and Friends will be on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:30am at the Galveston Yacht Club in Galveston, Texas.
