Retha Lynn Grigson
Retha Lynn Grigson, affectionately known as Lynn, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on January 21, 1954, in Griffin, Georgia, she made Pasadena her home for nearly all her years. Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Judge William Boswell; her sister, Linda Lott; and her brother, Kenneth Holder. She is survived by her mother, Quinnis Nadine Holder; her sons, Christopher Grigson and Darryl Grigson; her sisters, Laurie McCarthy, Debra Stuart, Sally Lindsey, and Kim Kendrick; her brothers, Kevin Holder and Timothy Holder; her grandchildren, Kiersten Grigson, Lacy Grigson, Blake Grigson, and Nicholas Grigson; and numerous nieces and nephews. As the eldest sibling, Lynn often acted as a second mother, doting on her brothers and sisters. She had a special way of making her nieces and nephews feel cherished, always offering a treat from a drawer or a favorite soda from the fridge during their visits. Her warmth and generosity will be deeply missed. Lynn possessed a wonderful sense of humor and cherished the moments spent around the table, engaging in conversations with her family. Her laughter and stories brought joy to all who knew her.
There will be a visitation from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday December 16Th. 2024 at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway Pearland, TX. 77581, with a service to follow at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, continuing Lynn’s legacy of care and compassion
