In Loving Memory of Raul Zubia
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Raul Zubia, 62. He passed away suddenly on March 10, 2019, in La Porte, Texas. He was born in El Paso, TX to Porfirio and Lugarda Zubia. Raul was a loving and caring father to Jeanette, Cynthia, Raul Adrian, Raul Rodolfo and Angel Daniel. He was an amazing grandfather to Ezra, America, Danielle, Eden, Damaris, Raylynn, Reyna and Julianna. Raul is preceded in death by his father, Porfirio Zubia, his mother, Lugarda Zubia, his brother, Hector Zubia and his nephew, Damian Zubia. He is survived by Elizabeth Valenzuela, Cristobal and Maro Zubia, Rodolfo and Sarah Zubia, Lilia Chavez, Ernesto Zubia, Javier and Romy Zubia, Sergio and Teresa Zubia and many nieces and nephews that he deeply loved. He will be greatly missed, but will be forever in our hearts.
Raul graduated from Riverside High School in El Paso, TX. He led a successful career in the metals industry as a sales manager for many years. He moved to Houston, TX in 1999 where he worked at Alpax, Inc. Recently retired, he enjoyed riding his motorcycles and corvette and enjoyed great Mexican food. He always maintained a positive outlook in life and a grateful, positive attitude that was contagious and inspired others.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the life and memory of Raul Zubia on Monday, March 18th at 2 pm at the Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E Broadway St., Pearland, TX 77581.
