Raquel Morales Puente
It is with great sadness that the family of Raquel Morales Puente announces her passing on Wednesday, March 17th 2021 at the age of 50 after her battle with cancer and Covid-19.
Raquel will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 29 years, Gregorio; children, Rosalinda, Mia, Star and Skye; grandchildren, Angelina, Benji and Sophie; as well as her mother Viviana; father Secundino and siblings, Martina, Maria, Juanita, Yolanda, Domingo and Sam.
Raquel was a loving mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She was always encouraging and supportive. She especially loved her role as Momo. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and treated everyone like family. Raquel loved doing the most on holidays and was known to have her home decorated from ceiling to floor. From witches on Halloween to Santas on Christmas. Raquel will always be remembered as having a beautiful soul, huge heart and a goofy personality. She always said that when she passed, she would come back as something “big and fat but cute”. She will be incredibly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Raquel’s life will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 11:30 am to 4 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home. Followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m.

You were the sweetest, kindest most generous person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and I’m lucky to be able to call you my mom and best friend. Our condolences to the family and friends. We are in disbelief and saddened by the passing of Rachel our neighbor. She always had a smile on her face and made sure to wave every time she seen us. We’ll put the kids, husband and family in our prayers to heal your broken hearts.

I love & will miss you so much tiaa! I know your flying high with the angels but its just so hard to accept you are gone! You had such an amazing soul and were so good to everyone. You were so loved by many i just wish god would have let you stay longer. We love you so much beautiful!
Your words were perfect during the service, Rosa. Your mom is smiling down on all of you forever. I know you’ll all carry on her silliness and share it with y’all’s kids. I always knew she’d have on holiday themed earrings, sweaters& headgear. We’ll miss her laughter and sense of humor. I was always able to share crazy/ nasty videos and jokes with her that other people didn’t want to see and she thought they were funny or gross and we loved them. She always had the most love for my kiddos and me. I’ll miss her so. ❤️ She was taken too soon.
