Ralph Arvel Frazier
Ralph Arvel Frazier, 86, a thirty-eight year resident of Pearland/Friendswood, TX was born in San Antonio, TX February 11, 1931 and passed away November 29, 2017.
Mr. Frazier served his country for six years in the Navy from 1949-1955 on the USS Midway. He was a member of the IBEW Local #60 as a Journeyman Electrician traveling to many different work locations throughout the United States, but was primarily in San Antonio. Ralph was a member of the Alzafar Shrine Temple, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, and Davy Crockett Masonic Lodge No. 1225. Mr. Frazier is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Huegele Smith and father, Clarence Frazier.
Ralph leaves behind his wife of sixty-two years, Mary Frazier; daughters: Lou Ann Medbury, husband Scott, Audrey Evers, husband Tony and Wanda Fernandez, husband Steven; grandchildren: Warren Medbury, Kelli Medbury and Megan Fernandez; brothers: Robert Frazier, wife Margaret, Thomas Frazier and Henry Frazier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Frazier was known as “Banjo” to friends through work. His woodworking skills were such that he drew the blueprints and actually built his own home in Pearland along with other projects. He enjoyed nature through love of the country life and outdoor sports. He was a soft-spoken man whose love of family was a constant source of pride which was evident to all who knew him.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland.
