Rafael Esteban Morato was born on August 03, 1948, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and passed away on March 11, 2023, in Pearland Texas surrounded by his daughters and other family after a battle with Lewy body Dementia.

Rafael was a very hard worker and a great provider who loved music and building things. He enjoyed cooking and had an exquisite pallet.

Rafael is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael Hipolito Morato, Laura Estella Jimenez Morato and four siblings.

He is survived by his children: Rafael Hipolito Morato, Milagros Laura Morato, Eunice Graciela Morato, Christian Morato, Daniel Morato John Morato, Chris Morato and their spouses, as well eighteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and nine siblings.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, with a memorial service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
